Kajsa Li
My name is Kajsa Li, a self-taught artist and illustrator. Art has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was born far up in Sweden among mountains and rivers in 1987, my family later moved to the shores of northern Denmark. I consider both countries my home.
What inspires me the most?
Nature and its exquisite beauty. Flowers and plants have become my muse; they captivate me endlessly. The world of botany and biology has always fascinated me; it’s like stepping into another realm where science collides with art.
Watercolors and large-scale canvas paintings in acrylics and oil pastels have always held a special place in my heart.
In 2023 I started mixing the traditional mediums mentioned above with hand-drawn digital paintings (pencil on drawing board). Combining traditional paint mediums with modern tools allows me to create something truly unique for my collectors.
